Programs

To play like a professional, one must understand the tools of a professional. Young Artists Foundation provides exceptional young classical musicians with essential training beyond private lessons to excel in the performing arts. All programs are taught by accomplished artists from only the most well-established institutions around the world, and are designed to elevate a student's abilities beyond their private studies.

YAF program scheduling aligns with that of most K-12 academic calendars, beginning in September and ending in June each year. Concerts are held monthly to showcase talented individuals, chamber musicians, and faculty alike.

Chamber Music

As both soloist and ensemble player, a chamber musician balances leading and following to create music in a small groups of equally important voices, without the presence of a conductor. Students participating in chamber music through YAF possess an existing high level of technical mastery of their instruments, and focus on developing their skills in musical communication.

Students without prior chamber music experience are encouraged to participate in the Introduction to Chamber Music program before moving into the Chamber Music Performance Series, either by audition or faculty recommendation.
